How often are the Tours?
We offer monthly Farm to Fork Tours in the summer and fall. Contact us for more information and check back for updates. We can also create a tour customized to your group’s scheduling needs and interests.
Where do we go on the Tour?
Specific locations vary, but depending on the tour, we visit green businesses, world-changing organizations, locally-sourced restaurants, organic gardens, sustainable farms, wineries, green hotels, and resorts. You can always call us at (510) 704-0379 ahead of time for specific details.
How many people do you need for a group tour?
We require a minimum of 12 and can accommodate up to 55 people per tour. If your group size falls outside those parameters, please feel free to talk with us to make the most suitable arrangements.
What is the cost of booking a group for a Tour?
The cost varies, depending on the size of the group and the location of the tours, please contact us about creating a group tour or to see if there is a group already formed that you may join. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due upon tour booking. Half the remaining amount will be due 4 weeks in advance and the balance due upon day of the tour.
If I make a reservation and cannot attend, what happens to my payment?
Groups: Our cancellation policy is refund minus deposit with at least 30 days notice (four weeks). For 15-29 days notice, we give a 60 percent refund. For 7-14 days, we give a 25 percent refund. For fewer than seven days, there is no refund. Individuals: Tickets sales are non-refundable, but they can be transferred.
Is there a senior citizen or student discounts?
We give a 10 percent discount for seniors over 65 and a student discount with picture ID.
How can I be involved with “Green Collar Youth”?
We are delighted to participate in the Green Collar Youth program. To sponsor a Green Collar youth, please contact our office.
How can I make reservations for a group tour?
If you have at least 12 people in your group, then contact us by phone at (510) 704-0379. You can also e-mail us with your basic info (no credit card details via e-mail, please) and we will get back to you at the earliest possible time.
What is the sample tour schedule?
An all-day tour generally includes a walking tour in the morning, no-host lunch at a locally-sourced restaurant, and transportation by bus in the afternoon. We also provide light refreshments and various goodies in a special gift bag for each participant.
Are you a Non-Profit?
Yes, we are a 501 (c) 3 Non-profit. Donations for our Educational Tours are tax deductible.
